For a seriously uplifting springtime treat, head on over to Japanese restaurant Roka‘s hip downstairs bar Shochu.

From now until 7 June, guests can enjoy Roka’s mouthwatering signature dishes under a breathtaking canopy of blossom, above, in Shochu’s glamorous bar. Created in honour of the Japanese practice of hanami – the celebration of the transient beauty of flowers – the fully immersive cherry blossom installation really is something special to behold. Also on the menu are a selection of bespoke cocktails made from Suntory Japanese whisky, including, above from left, a Kyuri Highball, with cucumber, rice shochu and soda; Sakura Sour, with kumquat, peach and sakura; and Cask Old Fashioned with sobacha syrup, sherry and plum sake.

We can’t think of a more romantic place to go for date night…
