The trend for faux flowers and plants is on a high as everlasting blooms become more and more realistic-looking and affordable.

And the newly launched Neptune Flower Shop is set to be our new go-to when we need to treat ourselves to some contemporary zero-maintenance fleurs. Offering gorgeous hand-painted creations with silk petals and glossy leaves, including these short-stemmed English roses, £16 each, in Dusky Pink, above; and White, below, the site will also sell fresh-looking faux green sprigs, knobbly twigs and potted succulents, such as this fab aloe, £8, bottom.

As you can see, Neptune’s blooms have taken things up a notch and are so realistic, your guests will have to get super-close to spot they aren’t the real deal. This foxglove, £16, below, looks like it’s just been picked from an English country garden. And how awesome is the company’s upside-down take on a traditional floral arrangement, top!

With beautiful hyacinths, peonies, lilacs, magnolias and a host of other life-like flowers on show, the site has everything you need to whip up a beautiful bouquet in no time at all. That’s our next dinner party centrepiece sorted…
